In deadspace 2 for xbox360..I have elite advanced suit and fully upgraded rig why does it only say 25% armor?

Im a bit confused as i have played the 1st deadspace..and i had alot of stuff when i beat it ..but also then had only 25%armor..but now in deadspace 2 i have the elite advanced suit .and rig is fully upgraded.but it only says i have 25%armor ... where is the other 75%? out in space somehwere? please somebody..im at zealot level now and at chapter7 and still im 25% armor..where can i get the other 75% to have 100%armor? i would really appreciate a bit of help on this ..thank you..and also a few achievements i know darn well i got but did not register with and did not get the credit for it ..example fully upgrade on weapon ..i did ..but no achievement..and also buying advance suit and a few others that did not register ..hmm..anyway..thank you for the time and i shall wait for a response..
