Do you think it's wrong or right for oeople to stay together just because they have kids...?

Hmm, I see a LOT of single mothers these days, it seems like 50% or even more of mothers are not with their childs biological father. Do you think that couples should try and work through their problems and get along because they have children or not even if they aren't in love anymore? I ask because I have known women in the past who have stayed in abusive relationships because their husband/boyfriend is their "baby daddy". I personally think that the only reason my mom and dad are together is because of me and my brother and sister, my mom and dad fight SO much and it just brings everyone down... my mom bullies my dad, she's the worse one out of the two and acts like he can't do anything right and is constantly complaining for no reason, I'm shocked that he hasn't left... their relationship has made me want to stay single forever!
