My ipod touch 3rd gen keeps kicking me out of my internet access point, how can i make it stop?

Every time i go to one of my internet required apps, it says "Hmm... can't get connected right now. Try again in a few seconds." so i do what it says, and it doesn't work. I exit the app and go to settings and check my wifi status and it says i have full connection... WTF? The app I'm using is called "TextFree w/ voice" and it's pissing me off, can anyone help? I've been trying to txt my friends and family all morning...
