Using freeamp in video recording?

I use my computer as an amp as my real amp is in repair, and i need to record a guitar video. I have the freeAmp VST but but when i try to record and i have all the effects and overdrive on, it just sounds clean. How can i make it so i can record the change of the sound made by the VST and not just the sound that put in?
