I've been playing keyboard in a band for a number of months now, using standalone VST programs, especially Pro-53 and Orchestral by Edirol, accessing them from my midi controller, the m-audio axiom 61. Either way I've been feeling held back because I can only use these programs as standalone programs since I'm somewhat scared to use a whole DAW like Fl studio in a live setting to host these virtual instruments. So, is there some kind of program out there that can host my vsts in an easy to manage way that will also allow me to switch between them and like parameters to the assignable knobs and sliders on my controller? Or is opening open my instruments on Fruity Loops my best option? Any help would be greatly appreciated and I'm sorry about the length of this question.

I've been trying to use the Gsnap VST on the Madtracker 2 program, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get it to autotune my voice. When i install VTS;s onto protools, some of them are gray when i try to use them. I installed them correctly, sometimes using them in rtas format, or vst to rtas adapter. Is there any way to make the vst not gray?

Okay, so I'm 19 and I live at home with my mum and sister. I've been seeing this guy for about 3 or 4 weeks and he's come round to my house about 5 times, I haven't been to his yet. My mum has said that she doesn't like him - she hasn't even had a conversation with him other than small talk?! How do you make a continous arp in FL Studio?

Im using Nexus VST in FL Studio, and some of the sounds have a built-in arp effect, or a similar effect that causes the note to play a sequence of sound. Its a little hard to explain, but imagine a climax reversed cymbal effect with a tone sound in it. If I first make a C note, and then a D note, the main sound resets and the climax starts all over again. Is it an option somewhere to fix this? I could probably use pitching, but its a lot of work for nothing if it really exists an option.

Distorted guitar mixing recording etc?

I use adobe audition 3.0 to record and I make rap rock something similar to dead celebrity status. But I rescently bought an interface so I can now record guitar. I'm working on a new one and id like the guitar to sound as full and wide as something like p.o.d.'s song called "alive" my process is usually to record the guitar clean it up reducing the "air" and normalizing and using a full reset on the compressor. Sometimes aftwr I do that I use the preset heavy guitar. Then I put it on two seperate tracks pan one left and one right then put a delay on one with about 31 ms. I use the vst isotope ozone and usually use one of the presets. Listening to the link or to other songs with a full sounding guitar what should I do differently or to give it a better sound? Btw I record the guitar distorted. Should I change how I adjust the drive bass trebel and mid while recording? I have a scoop adjustment too.

But I was persistent and said 'no' eventually she said fine delete me and then I'll delete you, I said no if your going to delete me go ahead it won't make a difference if I do or don't. she replied it does because then I will add you back ( she will be tempted :/ I think ) and I said no you won't dw. This is when I told her I had to go, I came back the next morning and she had blocked and deleted me :(, it's been two weeks nearly and I've been blocked and deleted, I've also found out her mum has cancer just recently and this was around when the time when she asked to be friends. Right now everytime her friend mentions me to her she gets angry ( she's showing emotion), hmm I really need your advice, I feel sick and horrible and I don't want to be her friend I want to so much more than that, help (bdw her mum is recovering her chemo is working very well) bt she hasn't told me her mum has cancer her bff did

Anxiety? Or Diabetes?

Hi, i am 17 years old and quite overweight. For the last month or so i have been getting dry mouth, even after drinking a lot of water. Obviously that leads to frequent urination. Diabetes does run in my family, my father has type 2 diabetes. But i also went to my doctors last November and he said i was fine. Plus i also have anxiety. I was wondering if this could be the cause of my dry mouth. Its the only thing I feel out of the diabetes symptoms, but I'm also kind of a hypochondriac so once i see the symptoms ill suddenly think i have them all. I would also like to add for the last two weeks i have been using my tread mil for 20-30 minutes a day and trying as hard as i can to eat healthy. Could this dry mouth be a form of diabetes? Or just regular dry mouth. I also drink a lot of water. I'd usually have to stick my finger down my throat or bite my tongue just so the saliva gets rid of the dry feeling for a bit. Please help. Making a minor adjustment on vehicle alignment?

Both front tires on my 2005 Sienna are wearing on the outer edge of the tread (like the tires are tilted outward on the top). I can manage my way around basic auto repairs and was wondering if there was an adjustment I could try. It looks like the same amount of wear on both tires. Long ago in my high school auto we were showed how you can adjust the tie rods, etc., the caveat being to mark where you started. I don't see where I could make an adjustment on this vehicle to bring the tires more vertical. does anyone know? I don't have the money to bring it in to a shop, especially since I'll probably try to get sold on a whole front end package. The vehicle runs well, no noticeable pulling or vibration, just extra wear on the outer edges.

Both of these are awesome attackers except Dragonite is more "tank like".

My Cat Attacks Me when i handle her?

Some cats are just like that: do not like to be picked up or handled. It doesn't mean she doesn't love you. I have a female cat 2 years old who is like that. She has calmed down considerably over the last year, but she still does not appreciate being picked up. How much is my atv worth?

I have a green 1999 Polaris Sportsman 500 4x4 with IRS (Independent Rear Suspension). Not sure how many hours are on it, but it runs great and starts up immediately after a months in storage. Yes, that is a lot of butter. I would use half the amount, and fry the veggies in it first til soft then just add the eggs to the same pan so the veggies are embedded in the omelette. That would be the usual way of doing it, I have never heard of frying them separately and putting them onm top, that sounds like extra faff!

Workout needs more fun?

School is ending and I need a better workout! I am on the leaner side but my family is all obese and if I don't work out I end up gaining weight! In school I have 3 gym periods a week (2 hrs and 15 minutes) and we almost always play sports and I love it! It helps me relieve stress and be aggressive and workout and have fun! On the days I don't have gym and one day on the weekend I work out (usually only and hour at max to stay healthy). I usually run on the tread mill but that gets really boring! I watch tv but that doesn't tend to satisfy me. If i try listening to music I love music so much i try to sing along but I get to out of breath and I have to stop and slow my work out down. Over the summer there is no sports team to do because the only way to join is to join in the beginning of the season (October) (I've tried but you can't this time of year). Weight obsessed relatives, almost crazy?

Well, here's the thing. I have 1 aunt who has 1 husband and they've got 2 kids who are my cousins. The whole family is weight obsessed. What bothers me the most is that it's affecting their children the most. The kids are 11 and 9 years old. Then when he got tired after about 1 hour his sister was like "see, all you do is sit down and eat, get up and keep walking" and his sister said to me "you're so skinny, how much do you weigh?" and then he asked the same question about 10 minutes later and I told him, and he said "Then I weigh less than you!" and I said "Yeah you do, but I am much taller" then he told me to go over to this thing that looks like a balance scale, but on the playground, and then of course I weighed more, then his sister sat on his side and she was like "Yeah, we're fatter than you" This was not how I visualized my birthday, and I seriously feel sympathy for them, when I was their age I never thought about weight & stuff like that. What can I do to help them?

Practice. Just keep egg beating in the water, get used to the water, and build up your leg strength. I used to play water polo and it just took a lot of practice and motivation. Don't expect to tread that long easily within a few days, it takes a lot of time to get water oriented. A good workout for your legs are wall sits or lunges, those really helped me.

ive recently opened up a music program thing called vst host and vst adventusdf.dll and now my computer does not have sound either through headphones or speakers. ive tried going through all the settings in control panel sound devices and yet no trouble question marks and checked the mute. Everything seems to be as it was before (not on mute) but still no sound. im using sound blaster 5.1 on a windows xp sp3. i have not touched anything to affect the sound other than opening up vst host then in host opening up VST Adventusdf.dll then boom no sound. DLL with respect. dat or .nki or .nks (the soundlibraries),you have to to go up in flstudio - options-file settings-and set the destination folder where you have your VST and so in this case on E :....!! but if there are programs that you install (such as stylus or eastwest vaporsynth), you can not do anything because they need to be first installed on the computer and of course you can not install on E: because you have not installed the operating system! anyway ... try to change the destination folder with the procedure that I told you before then ... do a scan of your vst channels through the menu-more-refresh-fast scan (recommended) and see if you get any error loading the vst

now that is a hard question. you can reinvent you image but never yourself. Just changing the way you look is relatively easy. if you want to lose belly fat riding a bike is not the way to go, but try doing some sit ups, then after you become better at those move on to an exercise called the plank, look up the proper way to do it. that's the exercise that i do every day for about 45 seconds and i have a six pack. as for eating 2 meals that is kind of a waste of time and it will make your life miserable (it will cause you to lose allot of weight but its not worth it) and also don't drink gatorade, it has large amounts of sugar in it which is bad. if you're dedicated then you can lose lots of weight quickly but you can't give up, just make up a little routine like: 10 push ups, 3 chin ups, and 20 crunches. then build that up, i don't know what to do for the skin stretches :( but like you said, there is lots of creams that can help with that. and about being ugly, if you always say stuff like "im so ugly" it will just make it worse, just be your self and it will work out. i hope that helped :D

If you're using only digital synthesizers, there's not a whole lot of difference. You'd be better off with a MIDI controller and a collection of VST's; you'll have more options. The only true advantage of hardware synths would be if you want something analog. VST's can't emulate analog accurately.

I've been to the doctors about this several time.. and every time they just seem to be like 'hmm.. how weird' and then don't really believe me. I have ACID pro 7.0, and I recently downloaded a VST Synth to use in it. Upon doing this I discovered that I have no way of using said synth cause I have no midi hardware. I've just bought a diary because I have an insane temper that is really short especially when I get really stressed with problems. I just got two new front tires and an aliment not even six months ago and the front right tire is already almost completely bald. About six to eight months before that we got two new tires on the front an they didn't wear down like that at all. I really think it is a terrific team. Your Bronzong and Shuckle strategy is great, although I don't see why shuckle would need protect. I think you should loose protect for a good physical move. Your skarmory is good, although it should have a physical attack. Again I would loose protect because you would already have used double team once or twice, making it hard to even hit skarmory in the first place. Forget that for steel wing is what I would say. Rampardos is great, because you could probably use a good attacker. Akakazam is also very important for your team, being able to defeat a good one or two pokemon before getting knocked out. Slaking should be your last resort, if you can't defeat a pokemon than you should send out slaking to get it out of your way. In the end I would rate your team 8/10

Ok, so ever since I can remember I have not had any care or sympathy for other people. It is like this thing in my mind that I just really do no care who I hurt and have absolutely no care for other peoples feelings or things like that. Even people close to me. In relationships, I am always cheating and at work I would tread all over someone if it got me to a better position. In a way it is quite nice, because it seems like some people worry so much about these things but I cannot understand it so it does make me feel lonely and isolated sometimes. Other symptoms are like world news such as deaths or tragedies have absolutely no affect on me, while other people are weeping I am just interested in seeing the action. It is like an amusing story for me. Other peoples pain does not bother me either i.e if someone close died or someone hurt themselves or got ill I would not care. I would act like I cared to fit in and not be noticed, but deep down I wouldn't feel anything. I described this in another forum and someone suggested I was a "sociopath" but I am not sure because I do not have evil thoughts or urges to actually hurt people myself. I just do not care about other people basically. What is wrong with me? Do you think a psychologist might be able to help?

Striped tread garden hose help please?

The tread is striped on the knob that you screw the garden hose into. The knob is cemented into the brick on the side of my house so I can't easily remove the knob. Is there anyway to repair the tread so I can screw the hose on to it and water my plants? :)

USB and MIDI keyboard differences?

You could buy a USB to MIDI interface cable. I have one and it works really well, but be aware that they aren't all created equal. The first one I bought was a really cheap bare-bones one for under $6 and it didn't work. I spent a little more on a Yamaha cable that came with a driver CD and it works.

i mean i have basic principles vst's and i also have albeton and fl studio. You cant get stamina in one day. You have to maintain it. Here you go. For example you run for a half km at your first day. then next day make it 1km if you find half km easy to complete. then like this go on and increase your distance day by day. Same is the thing that you have to follow for everything else like push ups chin ups, day 1st do 10 then next day 15 and so on. and rest you would have understand. you will maintain stamina within 2 weeks for sure. thanks
